The Playmobil Castle range of toys are suitable for kids from the age of 4.
"The working drawbridge, breakaway wall for cannon fire and trap door are great. Considering the size and number of pieces, it was remarkably easy to put together. Allow 2 to 3 hours for assembly, but the directions are excellent. Only complaint is that some of the small pieces that don't always want to stay together - some of the "details" will likely be missing after a few weeks. Overall, very happy with it! "

The Playmobil world is a wonderful, non-electric toy
There are a lot of neat little features on the castle that my son plays with. He will remain in his room for hours to play with his Playmobil Castle. We also got the other knight' castle (the red one, forgot the name) to complete the set. Definitely a solid good quality toy that doesn't fall apart easily. The castle design is quite intricate but strong.

The price point his high, but the size, quality, and attention to detail make the price reasonable, especially to buyers familiar with these toys. The only criticism I have for the toy is that it is many, many pieces in construction and should it be dismantled nearly impossible to reconstruct without the instruction manual.... So, if bought FIRMLY impress on children not to take the Playmobil Castle apart and save the manual just in case! I am having to order a replacement manual from the company.
